Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process payments efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management and organization skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a lively hospitality setting.
