Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to promote sales and customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquets to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by understanding nightclub or event-specific dynamics if applicable.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, casual restaurants, nightclubs, or catering environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively.
• Experience managing bar operations or bar management responsibilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail during busy shifts.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and food safety procedures.
• Previous experience working in hospitality industry settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly desirable.

Pay: $5.00 - $26.91 per hour
