Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas for seasonal menus or specials to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste through proper storage practices
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality settings; cocktail experience and mixology skills are essential
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
• Food handling certification and knowledge of food safety protocols are preferred
• Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or catering environments is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math proficiency for inventory management

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
