Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in food and beverage service, especially in a restaurant or hospitality setting, is highly valued. Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and billing
• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol laws
• Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts
• Assist in serving food items when required, ensuring timely delivery to guests
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in bartending roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of the food industry trends and beverage preparation techniques is a plus
• Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable based on local laws)
