Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in the food and beverage industry, particularly in settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, dive bars, counter service or fine dining establishments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while serving drinks and maintaining the bar area.

Requirements

• 2 years minimum of experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred; experience in nightclubs or fine dining is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
• An open mind and creative approach to developing new drinks, specials, and menu ideas is highly valued.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, lunch shifts, and weekends as required by the establishment.
• Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws.
• Must Be willing to work at both Locations The Yard@1224 (Talley Rd) & The Yard@1829 (Castroville off US 90)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $5.00 per hour
