Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handle cash handling duties efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends
• Proficiency with POS systems including Toast
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a hospitality setting
• Experience in fine dining environments or food service industry preferred
• Ability to develop beverage recipes and demonstrate creativity in drink presentation
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industry roles such as serving or banquet service is advantageous
• Knowledge of bar management practices and hospitality industry standards
