Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a strong knowledge of drinks, including wine and cocktails. Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, and other specialty drinks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper handling of payments and receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Stay informed about new drink recipes, industry trends, and product knowledge to offer guests innovative options.

Experience

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, preferably as a bartender or in a similar position.
• Demonstrated ability to process cash transactions efficiently using POS systems.
• Knowledge of wine varieties and proper serving techniques.
• Experience working in restaurant settings with high-volume service environments.
• Cocktail-making skills with familiarity in preparing classic and contemporary drinks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Must have state required alcohol certification or be able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
