Bartender

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, serving drinks and food while providing outstanding customer service, and creating a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using a POS system, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage bar inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and proper alcohol service procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations like change-making and inventory management.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 24.0 per week
