Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote repeat business
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the shift
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or catering functions such as banquets or nightclubs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service within fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, brewing processes, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during peak hours
• Experience with food handling, safety procedures, and cash handling responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management
