Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Your role is crucial in enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol.
• Engage with customers, providing excellent service and recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage time effectively to serve drinks promptly during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic maths for tab calculations.
• Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing orders.
• Understanding of food safety practices relevant to the bar setting.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential.
• A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well within a team.
