Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional beverage service and engaging interactions. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and customer service will contribute to a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your bartending skills while working in a dynamic environment that values professionalism and enthusiasm. Must be available for dayshifts and holidays. We are open 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, attentive manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends, recipes, and techniques to offer creative drink options.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and alcohol service regulations.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized bar area and uphold a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality settings; cocktail experience and mixology skills are essential.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and retail math for inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures in the hospitality industry.
