Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or banquets, ensuring smooth operations.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Proven experience in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments with a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests.
• Ability to develop innovative beverage recipes that appeal to a wide range of tastes.
• Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is a plus; knowledge of hospitality industry standards is essential.
