Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, following all food safety and alcohol serving regulations
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and ensure an enjoyable experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Square systems to process orders swiftly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food handling and sanitation standards
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or nightclub service for seamless guest experiences
• Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and promoting a safe environment.
• Take food orders/serve tables as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Texas style BBQ a plus but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient order processing
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across multiple tables or bar stations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
