Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, and serve food from our restaurant, deli and market, while providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment. Your expertise will help create memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk through the door. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to deliver outstanding customer service and enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using Toast; process payments efficiently while maintaining accountability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as the dry storage area that pertains to the bar.
• Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies; communicate needs for restocking promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations during busy periods; assist with food service when necessary.
• Help with retail sales when necessary.
• Serve tables both upstairs & outside, and assisting with barista service when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service within fine dining, nightlife venues, or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends.
• Familiarity with Toast for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle high-volume periods confidently without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and garnishes.

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 36.0 per week
