Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a solid understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving drinks, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization at the bar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain an organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in banquet services or special events as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating drink recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus for craft beer offerings.
• Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• A friendly demeanor with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
