Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food options and beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks and food pairings to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Toast to process credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure seamless service during busy hours
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft signature cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Handle transactions responsibilities with accuracy while processing payments and giving change as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events like banquets or catering functions
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a lively, friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Experience in fine dining environments, nightclubs, or banquet settings preferred
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to food safety standards
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and food industry calculations
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and beverage safety regulations
• Previous bartending or bar management experience within the hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with food service operations including serving, catering, and event setup
