Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote sales
• Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately
• Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle cash handling procedures with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer brewing processes
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and foster repeat business
• Experience working in fine dining settings or banquet/catering environments is highly desirable
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
• Previous bar management experience is a plus but not required
