Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with skill and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Handle cash transactions with basic math skills, ensuring accuracy in cashiering duties while managing retail math calculations for sales totals.
• Uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation practices in line with industry regulations.
• Contribute to a lively nightclub or event atmosphere by serving drinks quickly during busy hours or special occasions.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality; experience serving diverse clientele is a plus.
• Familiarity with food industry standards including food safety, food handling, and basic math calculations related to sales and cash handling.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends can enhance your ability to serve innovative drinks confidently.
