Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process cash transactions, credit card payments, and tabs efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods, special events, or private functions like banquets or catering events.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine varieties, craft beer styles, spirits, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts without compromising quality.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing retail math calculations related to sales.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a food service environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
