Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Oku team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, contributing to a seamless guest experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is required.
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink costs.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
