Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency with established recipes and standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy in drink preparation and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle credit card payments securely.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including nightclubs or banquet events when applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender with a strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, craft beer, and cocktail creation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of beverage recipe development and wine knowledge is a plus.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality industry excellence.
