Bartender

Job Summary

Minium 2 years service experience.

Locations open for shifts in Virginia: Arlington, Lorton, Oakton, Falls Church

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as TOAST, including processing payments and handling cash safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TOASTT
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures.
• Previous experience working with food handling standards, catering events, or retail environments is a plus.
