Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and craft beers, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry, especially in fine dining or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and craft beer proficiency.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for retail math and cash management.
• Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus; familiarity with hospitality industry best practices highly valued.
