Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
• Experience in fine dining settings or high-volume bars is preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while maintaining consistency in presentation.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as bartending or restaurant service is highly valued; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
