Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide personalized service that enhances their experience.
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling security.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or private functions like banquets and catering events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse personalities.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable; catering or banquet experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry schedule.

Pay: From $10.98 per hour
