Bartender

Overview
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or nightclub. As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently.
• Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests.
• Assist with banquet services or special events as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
