Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Square POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties, while accurately managing retail math calculations.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at events like banquets or catering functions.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management promptly to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; hospitality or food service background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Square POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, tips calculation, and inventory management.
• Experience with catering events or large-scale food industry operations is a plus; retail math skills are also beneficial.
