Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Hideout team at Northwood location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. As a Kava-tender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, interacting with guests, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve Kava, Kratom and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
• Take orders accurately using a POS system and handle cash register transactions efficiently.
• Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting low stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible kratom and kava
• Engage in ongoing learning about new drink recipes, brewing techniques, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in a coffee shop, restaurant or bar setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
• Knowledge of kava and Kratom and various drink recipes is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve kratom in accordance with local laws.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
