Bartender

Position Overview

Aloft Green Bay is looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Bartender to join our team at the W XYZ Bar.

Our bar is a social space where guests can grab a drink, relax, and connect. We're looking for someone who can provide great service, create a fun atmosphere, and bring their personality to every shift.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service to hotel guests and bar patrons.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with guests and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items.
• Verify IDs and follow responsible alcohol-service requirements.
• Operate the POS system and accurately handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and cash reconciliation.
• Wash and sanitize glassware, bar equipment, counters, and other work areas.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Work with the rest of the hotel team to provide a positive guest experience.
• Follow all hotel, Marriott, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service policies.
• Assist with other hotel duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, social environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to engage with guests.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move supplies as needed.

Schedule

This position includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Flexibility is important, especially during busy hotel dates and local events.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
