Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, offering drink recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during nightclubs or busy banquet events.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service flow.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements; knowledge of brewing is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or catering functions. Pay: From $8.00 per hour
