Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Interact with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their tastes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the Aloha POS system
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes, placing orders as necessary
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly

Skills

• Proficient in using Aloha POS system for order processing
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell drinks and promote specials
• Previous nightclub experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Experience in the food industry with an understanding of bar operations
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
