Job Description

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming and polished experience for guests. The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable about cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment, and able to maintain excellent service standards while managing multiple drink orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.
• Prepare and serve classic and specialty cocktails, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage pairings based on guest preferences.
• Accurately take and enter beverage and food orders into the POS system.
• Prepare multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Coordinate closely with Servers, Food Runners, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients, garnishes, spirits, wines, beers, and restaurant offerings.
• Check guest identification and follow all applicable alcohol service laws and restaurant policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and properly prepared bar area.
• Follow restaurant service standards, sanitation requirements, food safety procedures, alcohol regulations, and company policies.

What You Bring:

• Previous Bartender experience in a full-service restaurant environment preferred.
• Fine dining, upscale, craft cocktail, or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage preparation.
• Experience preparing craft cocktails and following standardized drink recipes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• TABC Certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Food Handler Certification preferred.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
