Bartender

Town Tavern Green is hiring one Bartender for the bar and dining room at 1840 Town Park Blvd, Uniontown, OH 44685. The role is full-time or part-time. You take food and beverage orders, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and keep the bar and dining room clean and organized during service.

Pay

Base pay is $5.50 per hour plus tips. With tips, pay is about $20 to $30 per hour. That with-tips figure is an estimate. The pay range on this post is $22.99 to $30.00 per hour.

Schedule

The restaurant is open Monday through Friday, 11am to 2:30am, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 2:30am.

What you will do

• Greet guests and give attentive service at the bar and in the dining room.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

• Know the menu and make recommendations to guests.

• Keep the bar and dining areas clean and organized.

• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions.

• Follow alcohol service rules and food safety rules.

• Work with the kitchen and the rest of the front-of-house team.

What you need

• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• You must meet Ohio requirements for serving alcohol.

• Serving or bartending experience is preferred. It is not required.

• You need to be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry items during a shift.

• You need reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of common bar drinks, liquors, beer, and wine.

• Experience with a point-of-sale system.

• Clear communication with guests and coworkers.

These nice-to-have items are not required.
