La Brochette is an elevated kosher steakhouse and sushi restaurant in the heart of Manhattan, proudly operating under OU and Tartikov Kashrut supervision. We offer refined dining, private events, and a curated wine and cocktail program in a warm, upscale atmosphere.

We are looking for a polished, energetic Bartender who understands both craft and hospitality and knows how to elevate a guest’s experience from the first pour to the final toast.

Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage experience while maintaining efficiency, consistency, and professionalism behind the bar. This role requires strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and service standards within a kosher fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Greet guests warmly and create an inviting, elevated atmosphere
• Craft cocktails with precision, consistency, and presentation
• Guide guests through wine, spirits, and specialty cocktail selections
• Maintain professionalism and composure during high volume service
• Support private events and VIP dining experiences

Bar Operations

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to house standards
• Maintain strict adherence to kashrut guidelines and bar separation protocols
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished bar at all times
• Follow all NYC health, safety, and alcohol compliance regulations

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with servers, server captains, and management to ensure smooth service
• Contribute ideas to enhance seasonal cocktail menus

Qualifications

• 2+ years bartending experience in upscale or high-volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and premium spirits
• Experience in kosher establishments is a plus
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
