Experienced Craft Bartender

SHO Asian Table | Red Bank, NJ

SHO Asian Table is seeking experienced craft bartenders to join our team in Red Bank. We are looking for polished hospitality professionals with strong cocktail knowledge, excellent guest-service skills, and the ability to perform confidently in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and nonalcoholic beverages according to SHO recipes and presentation standards.
• Provide knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging service to bar guests.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of spirits, cocktail techniques, wine, beer, and proper beverage service.
• Make thoughtful recommendations and accurately describe beverage ingredients and flavor profiles.
• Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements.
• Monitor guest consumption and recognize when alcohol service should be limited or discontinued.
• Accurately enter orders, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Complete opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, prep, and side-work responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and fully stocked bar.
• Work collaboratively with servers, support staff, managers, and the culinary team.
• Follow all SHO recipes, policies, safety procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Prior craft bartending experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant or bar is required.
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication, hospitality, and guest-engagement skills.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and required training sessions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must complete all required onboarding, training, fingerprinting, and local alcohol-service credential requirements.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described below are representative of the essential functions of this position:

• Remain standing or walking for extended periods during a shift.
• Frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
• Safely lift and carry cases, ice, glassware, bar supplies, and other items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Safely operate bar tools, beverage equipment, glassware, and cleaning equipment.
• Work in a fast-paced environment that may include elevated noise levels, crowded work areas, wet surfaces, and changing temperatures.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members in a busy restaurant environment.

Compensation and Benefits

$6.05 per hour plus tips

This is a tipped position and is eligible to participate in applicable tip arrangements in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
