Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic part time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing cash handling accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist with catering events as needed, providing bartending services for special occasions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.
• Stay informed about new drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or related roles within fine dining or hospitality environments.
• Proficiency in using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in managing transactions.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and cash management.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
