Roastery By Ava , a vibrant cocktail bar located in downtown Tigard, is seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. This role involves engaging with customers, crafting both classic and innovative cocktails, and maintaining the bar area with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails at the cocktail bar.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming manner, taking orders accurately and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere within the bar.
• Handle cash transactions or POS system operations efficiently and accurately.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role within a cocktail bar setting.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and current beverage trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
• Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• A friendly attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor.
