Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages with precision and flair, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and specialty drinks.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently through effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and guest preferences.
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless food and beverage service during events or banquet settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills; fine dining or hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in processing cash transactions accurately.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, craft beer, and beverage recipe development.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in restaurant or banquet settings is advantageous; catering experience is a plus.
