Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to maintain optimal availability.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately while handling cash safely and efficiently.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of beverage offerings including wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail recipes, and craft beer options.
• Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food at events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, monitoring guest intoxication levels, and refusing service when appropriate.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy nights or special events like nightclub nights or large parties.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume venues such as nightclubs or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient transaction processing.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, spirits handling, and craft beer experience.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, cash handling, retail math, and basic math skills are necessary for daily operations.
• Background in hospitality industry roles such as restaurant service or catering enhances your ability to excel in this position.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and professionalism.
