Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions
• Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with professionalism and flair
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue by recommending specialty drinks or premium selections
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation techniques
• Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or fine dining establishments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other sales transaction processing tools
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced setting
