Bartender

The Laughing Owl is looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. We need someone who can craft quality drinks, engage with guests, and contribute to a fun yet professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well under pressure, and understands responsible alcohol service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Check IDs to ensure guests meet the legal drinking age requirement.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies regarding responsible serving.
• Manage intoxicated guests professionally and in accordance with policies.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy hours.
• Restock inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous bartending experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, pouring techniques, and proper glassware.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification is a plus.
