Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Manage bar operations efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management.
• Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the food industry standards, including food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
• Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and hospitality environments is a plus.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
