Reports to Bar Manager

General Purpose:

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and customer orientated bar personnel to join our friendly team at Canvas Bar and Nightclub.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The activities, functions and areas of accountability for the job are clearly defined below.

• Welcoming customers at the bar area and asking what they require
• Ensuring a fast, friendly and efficient service is provided to all customers
• Preparation of drink orders, classic and modern cocktails and mocktails as well as wines.
• Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly
• Taking cash or card payments from customers
• Upselling beverage offerings to customers
• Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations
• Serving customers in the VIP area, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience
• Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles etc
• Maintaining the bar to high standards of cleanliness through the evening and washing glasses and wiping down surfaces.
• Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends
• Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers

Experience (at least one year) in a similar position within a bar/restaurant environment is essential.
Must be 18 years of age and over.

Working Conditions

Must be available evenings and weekends.

Hourly rate of pay - TBA

Regular training provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
