Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Handle cash processing, cashiering duties, and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate orders seamlessly.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by supporting bar management initiatives and promoting specials or events.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, and spirits expertise.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Experience working in food service or restaurant settings with a focus on beverage service is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Ability to manage time effectively in high-volume environments like nightclubs or banquet events.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and accurate order processing.
