Bartender

Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages promptly.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS while handling cash safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to enhance the menu offerings.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or food service within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests from around the world.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions, measuring ingredients, and managing inventory accurately.
