Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and special events such as banquets or catering functions

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or food service within a hospitality or restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in fine dining settings or catering environments is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Previous bar management or supervisory experience is advantageous but not required
