Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote sales.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing cash and credit transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance our menu offerings and cater to guest preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering beverage stock.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and managing guest intoxication levels responsibly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or food service within a hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and promote sales confidently.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with bar management or supervising responsibilities is a plus.
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately.
• Hospitality industry experience including catering or banquet service is advantageous.
