Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to provide excellent customer service and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience while adhering to established menu standards.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste through proper storage and handling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, including nightclubs or banquet events if applicable.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer trends.
• Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
• Previous experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume food service environments such as nightclubs or banquets is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a lively hospitality setting.
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate measurements and cash handling.
