Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks based on their tastes and current trends.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems; handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours while managing multiple tables or bar stations.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions accurately.
• Demonstrated ability in beverage recipe development and mixology techniques.
• Solid understanding of wine knowledge, spirits, craft beer trends, and beverage presentation standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and food industry procedures.
• Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling practices
• Hospitality industry experience including food service or restaurant roles is advantageous.
