Bartender

Job summary:

We are looking for an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. A passion for hospitality and a strong knowledge of drink recipes are essential.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for the preparation and mixing of drinks according to prescribed recipe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or mixes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following the standard recipe.

• Set-up the bar, equipping it with beverage stock, tools and necessary equipment and supplies.

• Prepare bar garnishes and ice supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside the bar area and stockroom.

• Checks and maintain stock levels of bar supplies, makes requisition when necessary, obtained requisition supplies.

• Take charge of storage and refrigeration of beverage including wines.

• Washes and dries dirty glasses and other bar tools and equipment.

• Serve drinks when servers or drink runner is occupied or busy attending to other table.

• Reports all equipment that needs immediate repairs and preventive maintenance.

• Makes report on beverage consumption, as well as losses and breakages of equipment, submits report to the Supervisor/Manager.

-Participate in inventories of bar stocks and equipment done by cost control/accounting.

• Take charge in closing the bar after operating hour.

• Perform such other duties related to bar services as may be assign.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
• Knowledge of drink mixing techniques and bar equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus
